A Prayer for our Graduates

Let us Pray..
On this day of new beginnings Lord
We place our class of 2009 in your hands
We know Lord that you love them
We know that you will always be close to them
We know that you will continue to inspire them to do great things.

They are ready Lord
They are ready to take the next step
They will teach, and heal, and inspire by their art,
They will counsel and invest and explore your wonders of nature.
They will design and engineer great structures.
They will work for the common good in politics and government service and all kinds of community service

All of them will love
Some will marry and have children
Some will serve your people as Priests and religious.

Their parting from CUA is bittersweet
But we all know it is time and they are ready.

Bless them
Bless their families
Bless their parents
May this day of celebration remain always in our hearts
And serve to remind us all of your loving divine providence.

We ask all of these things through Christ our Lord

Amen

Fr. Bob,
You truly made the 4 years I spent at Catholic blessed and utterly lively. I want to thank you for all you do for the students at the university. It wouldn't have been the same without you.
